This is another great book by the same author as "ish," Peter H. Reynolds. Same sort of idea as "ish" but just a different story...it speaks to those students who may not think they are artists or creative.
It's wonderful that you found this book! My daughter just used it in her Grade 6 class. They had read "Ish" together but one student was still saying that he didn't know what to draw. She gave him "the dot" to read on his own and said, "Read this and see if it helps". It did. Would you like to do a read-aloud for the class? You can invite a partner or two to help if you like. Let me know.
I feel like maybe I should read this book and find some inner creativity :)
